The road you walk

A turn will come
You will cross a river
Climb over a mountain
Stroll through the leaves of winter
And the road will never be the same

A turn will come
You will part ways with loved ones
Hitchhike the meadows
Walk your own shadows
And the road will never be the same

A turn will come
Storm will weaken your hope
But you will have to march through mud
Never mind the crud
And the road will never be the same

A turn will come
Mocking strangers will tumble around there
But what the hell they are not going anywhere
You will search for the right name
And the road will never be the same

A turn will come
Will strike the right cord of your mind
You will thank life for being so kind
A great run will never be lame
And the road will never be the same
